PTA GOALS

• Fund and create opportunities for student enrichment, teacher/curriculum support, and fun community-building and outreach events
• Build a welcoming, inclusive, respectful and compassionate community that embraces our diversity
• Collaborate with teachers, staff and administrators to ensure that our priorities are aligned and that the PTA can focus our efforts to best support those priorities
• Provide opportunities for families to participate in school activities

WHAT WE DO

What does the PTA do?  Together we strengthen our children’s learning and our entire school community. The PTA provides for transportation for field trips for each class, enriching activities, educational opportunities, and community events. Last year, the PTA provided funding for many items and experiences for students, including:

• Field trips such as:
  • A trip to Plimouth Pawtuxet for the third graders
  • A portion of the Nature's Classroom overnight field trip for the sixth graders
  • A visit to the urban gardens for the first graders
  • A trip to Canobie Lake Park for the eighth graders
• Materials to support the specialist classrooms and special projects
• Teacher Appreciation Week gifts
• Family Emergency Fund
