March 19, 2026- Spring Fling Dance Grades 7-8 6:00pm-8:00pm AFAS Gym & Cafeteria- The Spring Fling is back by popular demand! Dancing, fun and more at this newly annual tradition.

April 9, 2026: 5th/6th Grade Movie Night 5:30-8:00pm in the cafeteria - 5th and 6th graders can eat pizza and snacks and watch a movie together! PTA volunteers will chaperone.
Date TBD: City-wide PTA Science Festival 6:00pm-8:00pm "Somerville Family STEAM Night."
April 15, 2026: Free Book Day!
Donate your gently used kids’ books and help us distribute free books to all students.

May 4-8, 2026: Teacher Appreciation Week- A week long celebration of our teachers and the AFAS team!
May 21, 2026: Heritage Night 6:00pm-7:30pm
Help us celebrate the many cultures that make AFAS such a special community. Enjoy food from our multicultural community and special entertainment.
May 29, 2026 - Field Day (Rain date: June 5, 2026)
June 12, 2026- Last Day of School ½ DAY ALL GRADES (Pending snow days??)
